I live in an apartment. Can I use your services?
In most cases, it is possible to use our cubes. We always recommend that you check with your landlord first to be sure that you are allowed to place the cube on the lawn or in the garage entrance. It is always easier to deliver the cube to a building’s loading zone or in the street.
I would like to store my garden furniture and summer accessories during the winter. Is the cube big enough?
Yes, seasonal organizing is one of the advantages of mobile storage. Because the cube's dimensions are 5' x 8' x 7', it can easily hold all your summer furniture and more (summer tires, winter tires, etc.)
Does the cube have to be picked up the same day? Is there a time limit for filling the cube?
Our goal is to enable you to fill the cube at your own pace. That said, in certain situations the cube must be picked up during the same day (for example, if the cube is placed in an alley where it blocks traffic). Since cube rental starts the moment the cube is delivered empty to your door, there is no time limit or extra fee for keeping the cube at your place while you fill it.
Can you pack the cube for me?
Yes, if you need help, we can help give you a hand at an additional charge. If not, you are solely responsible for filling your cube. You are also responsible for securing your cube it with a lock (you keep the keys). Our basic commitment is to deliver the cube to the desired place and to give you the time you need to fill it.
Can I keep the cube at my home during renovations? Can I leave it outdoors?
Certainly, once cubes leave the warehouse, they are covered by a waterproof canvas that protects them from the weather. However, the cube is not a sealed container and its inner environment is not controlled. For this reason, we recommend that if you keep the cubes at your home or workplace, you do not store any articles that can be damaged by high or low temperatures.
Can I access my cube once it is in storage?
You always keep the right (during Go Cube’s hours of operation) to access your belongings free of any additional charges. However, we request that you let us know 24 hours before your visit so that we can accommodate you.
How early should I start to pack before my cube arrives?
There’s only one rule: Pack as early as possible! By starting early, you enable yourself to pack in stages, which gives you the double advantage of reducing the stress of moving and keeping track of how much packing materials you will need. For example, you may notice that you need more boxes than expected, or that you are missing bubble wrap, or that the number of cubes you reserved is insufficient. By starting early, you will have ample time to solve any problems that may arise.
If you lack boxes, dust covers, moving blankets or any other packing materials, we are on hand to provide what you need. Contact us for all the details.
Is it necessary to have a permit to deliver the cubes?
In some areas, you must acquire a permit in order to leave your cube in public parking spaces or a back alley. Avoid unhappy surprises by asking in advance at your local service centre.
